Overview

You will join the M&A Mid Cap team at IMI Corporate & Investment Banking, where you will be responsible for the execution of extraordinary corporate finance transactions for Italian and international Mid Cap clients. You will support acquisition, divestiture, merger, and capital raising processes, collaborating with clients, external advisors, and multidisciplinary internal teams. You will contribute to the preparation of financial analyses, marketing materials, and documentation to support transactions.

What your activities will be

  • Support the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions for Mid Cap clients
  • Prepare financial analyses, business plans, and valuation analyses
  • Develop financial models and presentation materials for clients and investors
  • Support the preparation of pitches, teasers, information memorandums, and management presentations
  • Coordinate operational activities related to due diligence processes
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, and financial advisors involved in the transactions
  • Monitor the M&A market and analyze sector trends and comparable benchmarks
  • Support the management of relationships with clients and counterparties
  • Collaborate with Financing, ECM, DCM, and Coverage teams on integrated transactions
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of the documentation produced

Who we are looking for

If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

  • 1-2 years of experience in M&A / Corporate Finance;
  • Knowledge of the main financial modeling and business valuation tools;
  • Knowledge of financial markets and corporate extraordinary transactions;
  • Ability to prepare analytical materials and presentations for clients and investors;
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language.

The following knowledge is considered a preferential qualification:

  • Advanced use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Experience with cross-border transactions;
  • Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Management Engineering;
  • Any certifications in the finance field.
