The Outdoor and Satellite Facility Coordinator manages approximately 20 different Ohio State Outdoor Recreational Facilities (ODFM) which encompass nearly 35 acres. These facilities are located on South, North, Central, Agriculture and West Campus and include basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, roller hockey rinks, jogging path, baseball/softball fields, multipurpose infill turf field, picnic shelters, children's playground, fitness stations, tennis courts, batter ball wall courts, flag football/field hockey/lacrosse/rugby/soccer fields, Coffey Road Recreation Complex, Fred Beekman Park, Lincoln Tower Park and The Women's Field House at The OSU Columbus Campus. Direct reports will include supervision of one graduate administrative associate (GAA) and approximately 50 undergraduate student staff (facility coordinators, facility managers and facility assistants).
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 1-year full time or 2 years GAA in recreational facility or similar field desired. Master's degree in related field.
