Role Overview

As a Creative Production Manager, you will lead the planning, resource allocation, and delivery of Bloom’s creative production projects across social media, paid media, digital, and integrated campaigns.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team of content creators and designers while orchestrating the operational infrastructure that allows creative work to evolve efficiently, from approved concept to production and delivery. This includes translating creative requirements into production quotes, planning shoots and pre-production, casting and talent coordination, managing creative traffic, supervising external production partners, and controlling production budgets and expenses.

By working closely with the Creative, Social Media, Paid Media, Client Services teams, and external partners, you will find the balance between creative ambition and production realities, ensuring that teams have the right resources, adequate timelines, key information, and the necessary support to deliver high-quality work in an efficient and sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning and Management: Take charge of creative productions, from project scoping to pre-production, production, post-production, quality control, and delivery for photo, video, social, digital, and paid media projects.
  • Team and Resource Management: Manage a team of content creators and designers by ensuring prioritization, workload distribution, capacity management, and daily production needs.
  • Pre-production and Casting: Lead shoot planning, including timelines, logistics, locations, equipment, casting, talent coordination, contracts, authorizations, and usage rights.
  • Creative Traffic: Oversee the flow of design and content projects by ensuring clear visibility on briefs, priorities, timelines, dependencies, approvals, and deliverables.
  • Production Scoping and Estimation: Translate creative concepts into concrete production plans by determining the necessary resources, timelines, talent, partners, and costs before production begins.
  • Budget and Expense Management: Prepare estimates and track production budgets, expenses, fees, freelancers, vendors, and scope changes.
  • Freelancer and Partner Management: Develop and manage a reliable network of creators, freelancers, studios, vendors, and production partners to supplement internal capabilities as needed.
  • Cross-team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Creative, Social Media, Paid Media, and Client Services teams, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and resource planning.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in creative production, multimedia content production, creative agency production, or a similar production management role.
  • Experience in managing designers, content creators, or other creative production professionals.
  • Hands-on experience in planning photo and video productions (pre-production, casting, talent coordination, production logistics, and post-production workflows).
  • Excellent understanding of production requirements for digital, social media, paid media, and performance-driven creative.
  • Experience in developing production quotes, estimates, and budgets, as well as managing expenses throughout a project.
  • Experience in managing multiple simultaneous creative projects and creative traffic in a fast-paced agency or studio environment.
  • Strong operational sense and the ability to identify production risks, dependencies, and resource needs before they become obstacles.
  • Comfort in negotiating with talent, freelancers, vendors, and external production partners.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with creative, strategic, media, and client service teams.
  • Practical understanding of the balance between creative ambition, production quality, speed of execution, project scope, and budget.
