Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for the maintenance and commissioning of systems and IMCS (Integrated Monitoring and Control System) units in the field of marine engineering

  • You also carry out functional tests and troubleshooting together with your team

  • Checking construction documents and test specifications is also part of your task

  • You are responsible for initiating, coordinating, and monitoring corrective and repair measures

  • Furthermore, you take over the coordination of the commissioning of systems from subcontractors

  • You are also responsible for handing over the functional systems and units to the end customer

  • In addition, adherence to the project schedule in consultation with project management is part of your area of responsibility

  • You occasionally take part in sea trials and transfer voyages

Your profile:

  • You have completed technical training, such as a state-certified electrical technician, or a similar qualification in marine engineering with several years of professional experience
  • Good technical understanding of complex automation technology, as well as handling Microsoft operating systems, are an advantage
  • You have experience with the commissioning of complex electrical systems
  • Knowledge of English is desirable
