PROPOSED BASE SALARY RANGE: £29,500 to £32,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. The successful candidate will also receive London Weighting in addition to their base salary.

JOB PURPOSE:
The BBC Studios Title Marketing team sits within the Global Content division and is responsible for providing marketing support for our wide range of titles across genres including Scripted, Unscripted and Kids & Family. This support runs throughout the title’s lifecycle – from development through production to transmission and post-transmission and primarily focuses on trade (B2B) marketing supporting the sales of our titles to international buyers, but also some consumer-facing marketing for selected high-priority titles supporting commissioners, co-producers and key buyers with their B2C campaigns.
This role is focused on the Scripted and Kids & Family genres, but also supporting cross-genre projects where needed. The Marketing Executive is primarily responsible for running marketing campaigns for allocated titles from the Scripted drama and comedy slate, including new and returning series, as well as supporting other genres when needed. As well as supporting senior marketing team members with their campaigns. The Marketing Executive develops and executes a B2B campaign to sell each title, working closely with internal teams including Sales, Commercial, Comms and Creative, as well as with the production companies making the title. This role also involves working with the commissioners and buyers for each title to help support their B2C needs, and to align the B2B and B2C campaigns where possible. This role helps drive the funding needed to make our shows, as well as continuing to build our global reputation as a world class studio.
This role reports into the Senior Marketing Manager, Scripted and Senior Marketing Manager, Kids & Family.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is responsible for supporting marketing campaigns for allocated titles from the Scripted drama and comedy slate, and Kids & Family slate, along with supporting other genres when needed.
This includes:
- Supporting the development of B2B campaigns to sell our titles to international buyers – from early proposition development through strategy development to creative briefing and production. Supporting senior marketing team members on their titles and also with the opportunity to run campaigns as you develop. B2B campaigns include trade key art/imagery, trade promos, pitch decks and Sales slides.
- Managing the delivery of effective creative work that reflects brand guidelines, ensuring all campaigns are delivered within budget and timeframe.
- Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partner teams including Sales, Commercial, Comms and Events.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the production companies for our titles, and external agencies where needed.
- Working closely with commissioners, co-producers and key buyers to ensure alignment between B2B and B2C approaches.
- Managing the supply of assets to customers, including working alongside other team members to manage our file delivery system GLAM.
- Supporting the Title Marketing team with wider strategy and cross-genre initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Essential Criteria:
- At least 2 year marketing experience, ideally focused on B2B but with knowledge of B2C.
- Passion for B2B marketing and some understanding of the global B2B TV market
- Passion for the Scripted and Kids & Family genres.
- Understanding of the principles of marketing strategy and able to input in strategy development, as well as writing concise and compelling creative briefs.
- Experience working on delivering marketing campaign through creative development,
asset production and delivery.
- Experience liaising with stakeholders (internal or external clients), including managing feedback and gaining creative approvals.
- General office and admin skills – proficient in PowerPoint, Excel.
- Finance admin experience, such as raising Pos, invoicing, budget management.
Desired but not required:
- Marketing experience in a directly related role within the TV/entertainment sector.
