Job Description

Our bank is a subsidiary of the Italian Intesa Sanpaolo Group. As a universal credit institution and one of the key players in the domestic financial market, we have more than 45 years of experience. We continuously seek innovative solutions tailored to our clients, and our colleagues are active participants in this process. If an international background is important to you, a friendly and pleasant atmosphere, and a workplace where your development and well-being receive genuine attention, don't wait any longer!

What is it like to be a project manager at CIB?

  • As part of an international banking group and a player in a complex and dynamically changing banking market, we manage a large portfolio of complex and rapidly changing projects affecting the entire bank.
  • The complexity of our work is well illustrated by the fact that in each project we must not only understand and manage business changes, but also oversee the complete IT implementation of projects, including testing and go-live.
  • In our work, we operate with great independence within broader guidelines; in complex problem-solving and decision preparation work, we need structured thinking and excellent presentation skills.
  • In a dynamically changing environment, we must respond quickly to changes, recognizing project dependencies and continuously replanning project delivery as needed.
  • To assemble an effective project team, it is important that we understand the work of related areas and delve deeper into the project scope, which provides an excellent opportunity to gain a broader understanding of how a bank operates.
  • In managing projects, we work with and support team members from staff level to middle and senior management, and present project results.
  • Most projects are international and involve active participation from our parent company, so we must perform not only in Hungarian but also in English, which provides an excellent opportunity to maintain and develop our language skills.
  • If you enjoy working freely, appreciate independence, are not intimidated by complex problems, and handle change well, you will definitely find your place with us!

We are looking for you if:

  • You have several years of banking/financial institution experience as a project manager and are familiar with how banks operate and their processes.
  • You know and apply project management methodologies.
  • It is not a problem for you to work entirely in English frequently.
  • You perform excellently in a regulated but dynamically changing environment within a multinational setting.
  • You have outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and are able to organize work quickly within a structured project organization.
  • You organize your work with both short-term and long-term strategic goals in mind, and are willing to gain a deeper understanding of the business content of projects.
  • You have excellent communication skills, are experienced in conflict management, and appropriate escalation.
  • You are not intimidated by presenting to senior management or discussing a problem with them.
  • You are characterized by a sense of responsibility and purposefulness; if needed, you go the extra mile.
  • You have high-level computer skills.

We value your talent:

  • We provide an annual gross cafeteria benefit of 500,000 HUF, which you can use for practically every well-known benefit element.

  • After the probationary period, you will have the opportunity to take out an interest-free housing loan.

  • We support your physical and mental well-being:

    • We provide health insurance services.
    • Thanks to our parent bank, in case of serious illness, a free second medical opinion and treatment by international medical specialists.
    • Psychological counseling through the Expert Help Program.
  • Support for summer camps during vacation periods.

  • Banking and partner discounts on purchases and other services.

Join us because:

  • You will have secure employment at the Hungarian subsidiary of an international banking group.
  • With your colleagues, you will find solutions to every problem, because a supportive community is fundamental to us.
  • Professional development is important to us, so we offer a wide range of training programs for all employees.
  • We enrich everyday life with online and in-person programs.
