Overview

Within the Crypto-Asset structure of Compliance Financial Markets and Investment Banking, you will be responsible for overseeing the relevant regulations for Digital Asset activities, providing support for business division initiatives, and contributing to the identification of applicable regulatory requirements and the definition of necessary oversight and control solutions.

What your activities will be

• Monitor and interpret the evolution of the national and European regulatory framework applicable to Digital Assets, with particular regard to MiCAR, DLT Pilot Regime, and the Fintech Decree
• Analyze the evolution of the Digital Asset market in terms of instruments, markets, and technologies, evaluating their regulatory and compliance impacts
• Provide specialist consulting for innovative projects, identifying applicable regulatory requirements and contributing to the definition of related operational, organizational, and control safeguards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Lead regulatory analysis and gap assessment activities
• Collaborate with Process Owners and Control Owners to define and review operational processes and first-level controls, and contribute to the design/strengthening of second-level controls
• Prepare opinions and specialist insights on regulatory and compliance topics
• Manage interactions with competent authorities, supporting the handling of information requests, audits, and authorization activities
• Contribute to the evolution of the corporate compliance framework, promoting the adoption of market best practices and the integration of regulatory requirements into business processes

Who we are looking for

If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, or Internal Control functions at financial intermediaries, fintech companies, or Crypto-Asset sector operators (CASP or former VASP).
• Solid knowledge of the regulations applicable to Crypto-Assets and, more generally, to digital financial instruments, with particular reference to MiCAR, DLT Pilot Regime, the Fintech Decree, and major European regulatory developments.
• Experience in managing regulatory projects, performing regulatory impact analysis, and defining processes and controls.
• Degree in Economics, Law, Engineering, or related disciplines; specialization in Crypto Assets / Digital Assets / Blockchain is a plus.
• Interest in digital innovation, blockchain technology, and the evolution of financial markets.
• Good ability to work autonomously, managing both project activities and complex compliance issues simultaneously.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
