Job Description

Join Lunii as a Senior Editor!

Reporting to our Editorial team and Stéphanie, our Editorial Manager, your role will be to imagine, develop, and produce content for children aged 0 to 6.

Your main missions will be:
Content editing & production
  • Design, select, and develop audio content (stories, nursery rhymes, fairy tales, documentary content) adapted for the 0-6 age group.

  • Adapt the content and structure of texts to the specificities of the audio format.

  • Manage authors, illustrators, voice actors, or external partners.

  • Supervise recording phases (casting, artistic direction in the studio) and post-production.

Market monitoring and catalog development
  • Monitor trends in children's publishing, children's literature, and audio in France and internationally (podcasts, audiobooks, etc.).

  • Identify new talent, licenses, or potential partners.

Cross-functional
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Product, and R&D teams to align content with usage and user feedback.

  • Participate in editorial committees and present projects internally.

  • Ensure administrative and legal follow-up for projects (author contracts, illustrator contracts, etc.).

Our ideal profile
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in children's publishing with experience in audio publishing and/or podcasting.

  • You have a good knowledge of early childhood development and a strong taste for children's literature and content.

  • You have an excellent command of writing and rewriting, particularly for the audio format, and are comfortable with the various stages of production such as recording, editing, and mixing.

  • You know how to support and provide constructive editorial feedback to the authors, illustrators, and voice actors you work with.

  • Curious, you are naturally interested in the worlds surrounding children: books, audio, cartoons, games/toys, digital, and new formats.

  • Positive and dynamic, you easily build connections and enjoy teamwork and exchanges with various stakeholders.

  • Proactive and a self-starter, you like to take initiative and move your projects forward independently in a constantly evolving environment.

  • You have a fluent level of English to communicate with our international partners and authors.

Our recruitment process

  • First with Bérengère, Recruitment Manager, for an initial phone call (30 min),

  • Then, you will meet Stéphanie, Editorial Manager, during a meeting at our offices involving a personalized practical case study (60 min),

  • Finally, you will speak with Charlotte, Head of Content & Partnerships (45 min).

What we offer

  • Contract: CDI (Permanent contract) - Executive status - Full-time day-based contract.

  • 4-day work week experiment with Friday as a day off.

  • Remote work: 2 days of mandatory weekly presence at our offices in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris.
