Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Vulnerability Research Engineer to join our team in support of specialized military cyber operations.You’llbea critical member of a small team, responsible forresearchanddevelopmentofcybercapabilities. Join our team of best-in-industry cyber warriors whoare dedicated to providingsuperiorservice in support of national defenseobjectives.

This position can be remote, hybrid, or in-person.Candidateswilling tobe hybrid and able to work in a classified environment at one of Parsons’ offices in Centreville, Chantilly, or Herndon, VAare preferred.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform vulnerability research / reverse engineering (VR/RE) against a variety of hardware and software targets

• Allocate tasking to support larger-scale cyber tool development

• Perform testing and integration of cyber tools

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+years of professional related experience or equivalent experience

• 2+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86

• 1+ yearsofexperience invulnerability research and/or cybertool development

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals

• Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments

• Experiencewith CI / CD Pipelines and version control (Git)

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ yearsofexperience invulnerability research and/or cybertool development

• Cross-Platform Windows-Linux development

• Experience with Windows Internalsand/orLinux kernellevel programming

• Knowledge of concurrent application development concepts (multi-threaded and/or distributed)

• Familiarity with antivirus evasion techniques

• Assembly languages (x86, ARM, MIPS, etc)

• Additional Operating Systems (Android, iOS, OSX)

• Certified/trained in one or more of the following:CorelanBootcamp/Advanced, ManTech ACTP Windows/Linux/VR&E, OSCP, OSED, OSWE

• Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, NSA, DoD cyber operations, or related mission environments

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
