Thematic Equity Intern

Overview

You will work within the Investment Area of Eurizon Capital SGR and collaborate on the activities of the Thematic Equity team within the Equity Research & Portfolio Management unit.

What will your responsibilities be

During the internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support the more senior colleagues in the unit in the following activities:

• Support the team in thematic and sector research (analysis of macroeconomic, technological and demographic trends relevant to investments).
• Collection and processing of financial and market data, with preparation of reports and presentations supporting investment decisions.
• Contribution to fundamental analysis of listed companies (reading financial statements, newsflow, market consensus).
• Participation in monitoring the performance of thematic funds, comparing portfolios with reference benchmarks.
• Operational support for portfolio management activities (updating internal databases, analysing portfolio positioning).
• Collaboration with analysts and portfolio managers in preparing materials for internal and external meetings (clients, sales, CIO).

Who we are looking for

• Degree in Business Management - Finance
• Good command of the English language
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Preferred: knowledge of Bloomberg/FactSet/CFA candidate
