Job Description
The Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor of Accounting beginning Fall 2027 (appointment starts in August, 2027). This is a non-tenure-track teaching position with a renewable three-year term. This position is a strategic addition to the Lubin School of Accounting, designed to strengthen the School's ability to meet student demand across a range of high-impact accounting courses, including financial and managerial accounting, cost, accounting information systems, analytics, and technology. The successful candidate will help ensure continuity in required courses, support the School's CPA-readiness mission as New York implements its new 120-hour licensure pathway, and contribute new ideas and expertise in emerging areas, including the integration of analytics and AI tools into accounting instruction, that enhance student career preparation. A passion for teaching and student success is essential.
