Analyst (m/f) in the Market and Financial Risk Team within Risk Management (Liquidity)

Liquidity risk is one of the most important areas of financial risk management, and its effective management is crucial for the security of the Bank's operations and compliance with regulatory requirements. In a world of increasingly complex market and regulatory challenges, we are looking for an analytical, proactive, and motivated person to join the Market and Financial Risk team and participate in the analysis, monitoring, and development of liquidity risk management methodologies, as well as in the preparation of regulatory reports and cooperation with relevant internal and international stakeholders.
The selected candidate will participate in:
- measuring, monitoring, and reporting regulatory and internal liquidity risk indicators for the needs of the Management Board, the Group, and competent regulatory bodies, including the interpretation of results and key trends.
- improving existing processes and controls related to liquidity risk management
- conducting sensitivity analyses, scenario analyses, and stress testing to assess the Bank's ability to meet its obligations in a timely manner under various market and business conditions
- developing, maintaining, and improving methodologies and processes for liquidity risk management, including methodologies for assessing the stability of funding sources, deposit concentration, and survival under stress conditions
- participating in the preparation of ILAAP, recovery plans, resolution plans, and other internal and regulatory documents related to liquidity risk management
- participating in the implementation of new regulatory requirements, regulatory changes, and internal initiatives related to the field of liquidity risk
- defining business requirements for the development of new reports, analytical and data solutions in cooperation with relevant business and IT stakeholders, and testing solutions
- analyzing and controlling relevant data, including identifying anomalies, analyzing the causes of deviations, and coordinating activities necessary for their timely resolution.
With at least two years of work experience in the same or similar jobs, we expect the following from the candidate for this position:
- completed degree in mathematics, economics, or information technology
- basic knowledge of banking operations, products, and key processes, as well as the regulatory framework related to financial risk management
- experience working with databases and processing/analyzing large datasets
- understanding of EBA and ECB regulatory requirements in the field of financial risks
- advanced use of MS Excel
- good knowledge of SQL or related data manipulation tools
- knowledge of programming languages (SAS, Python) is preferred
- active knowledge of English, both spoken and written
