Senior/Lead Analyst (m/f) for the development of credit policies, processes, and lending rules

(work location: Zagreb)

The position involves operational participation in the process of developing credit risk management policies, organizing credit processes and key elements of business decision-making, and improving internal control systems.

Work tasks include:

• analysis and design of processes and rules for approving placements, as well as the development and maintenance of application components that support the aforementioned process
• development of automated decision-making systems based on internal models
• active participation in projects related to the digitalization and optimization of credit approval processes in accordance with the latest trends in digital business
• retrieval and analysis of data on clients and credit products, with the goal of identifying high-risk "clusters" and monitoring the performance of decision-making rules
• participation in the development of internal credit risk models (PD), design of processes for assigning internal credit ratings, and implementation of internal models into credit processes
• specification of requirements and functionalities for the implementation of new, as well as the improvement of existing, application solutions, ensuring the quality of IT deliverables, and the development and testing of the central decision-support system and applications used in the credit process
• writing and maintaining procedures and instructions for credit risk approval and monitoring processes

Formal requirements that all candidates must meet are:

• University degree (preference for IT or mathematics majors)
• minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• knowledge of the credit process and/or credit risk measurement models
• experience working with databases (knowledge of SQL or working in SAS tools is preferred)
• advanced knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• advanced use of MS Office
