Senior IT Project Technician

In this role, you will: Design, test, and maintain deployment packages for software, drivers, and configurations across our desktop environment. Own our Microsoft Intune environment, covering device provisioning, compliance policies, application deployment, and reporting. Build scripts and lightweight tools that take the repetition out of desktop support (onboarding, patching, software updates). Hunt down the friction in our support workflows, shoulder to shoulder with the IT technicians and co-develop fixes that measurably improve speed and reliability. Document what you build and bring the team with you, through clear deployment and automation procedures plus the hands-on training that gets new tools genuinely adopted rather than quietly ignored. Keep everything aligned with our security and compliance requirements, and stay close enough to the Microsoft endpoint ecosystem to tell us what's worth adopting next and what isn't.

What we're looking for: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in desktop support, endpoint management, or IT operations. Strong hands-on Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager administration including, compliance policies, application creation/deployment, provisioning, and reporting. Real scripting ability in PowerShell to automate a workflow end to end. Application packaging and deployment experience with tools such as PDQ Deploy, Ivanti, or SCCM, along with solid Windows OS deployment and imaging knowledge. Working knowledge of Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365. Experience in operating inside an ITSM platform like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
